There are many MLB sluggers I enjoy watching pummel baseballs on a nightly basis. Houston Astros stud Yordan Alvarez is right at the top of that list. This dude is a machine and he’s only programmed to blast taters. All he needs to do is stay healthy for 150-plus games so we can see where his numbers end up. That’s what I’m hoping we’ll see this year while keeping tabs on our 2024 Yordan Alvarez Home Run Tracker.
This will work just like it did last year. Each time Alvarez hits a tank, we’ll update this article with the date, opponent, distance, exit velocity, and a video of the dinger.
Alvarez has played in 100-plus games each year since 2021, but his playing time has consistently decreased because of trips to the injured list. He suited up for 144 games in 2021, which was followed by 135 in 2022 and 114 in 2023. That hasn’t stopped him from hitting homers at an above-average pace — he’s produced three straight seasons of 30-plus home runs. This included 31 homers with 97 RBI last year for Houston. You can check out that production in detail with our 2023 Alvarez homer tracker.
