How to get Red Sox vs Yankees Tickets for the 2023 Season

Have you experienced one of baseball’s oldest, most storied, and most hated rivalries in person? If you haven’t, then it’s something to put on your baseball bucket list. Why not cross that item off during the 2023 regular season? If that’s what you’re here to figure out, then you’ve come to the right place to get information on how to buy Red Sox vs Yankees tickets.

Historically, New York and Boston played each other 19 times per season since they both reside in the American League East. But, with scheduling changes by MLB starting in 2023, these two squads will only play 13 times per year.

Still plenty of opportunities to watch this rivalry in the flesh, but just not as many as there used to be. Here’s some information to keep in mind when it comes to scoring Red Sox vs Yankees tickets this year (and for future years).

Where to Buy Tickets

There are several places to buy MLB tickets. The easiest way is to directly visit each team’s official site. However, that doesn’t seem to be the preferred method for many fans these days.

The secondary ticket marketplace has boomed with the emergence of places like StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, and others. But here at MLB Daily Dingers, we prefer to get tickets from our friends at Vivid Seats.

When it comes to finding tickets on a secondary market, you want to do it on a site that’s trusted. That’s what Vivid Seats provides. They’ve served more than 15 million fans and have sold 100-plus million tickets. Vivid also provides safe and secure transactions with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you have peace of mind when planning your next memorable experience. And if you need help, there is full-service customer care from start to finish.

Sounds like pretty good service to us. Can’t really be more convenient or reliable than that.

Ticket Prices

It doesn’t matter if both teams are contenders or not. If you’re going to buy Red Sox vs Yankees tickets, be prepared to shell out a good amount of money. After playing at Yankee Stadium from June 9-11, New York will travel to Fenway Park for a three-game set about a week later. At the time of this writing, tickets aren’t being sold for any cheaper than $70 each.

However, if you’re willing to wait to see these two squads play, you can get tickets now for later in the season that are not nearly as expensive. Their August 18-20 series at Yankee Stadium currently has prices listed between $40 and $50. It’s a similar story for their final head-to-head matchup of the season at Fenway in September, as prices are landing in the $50 range.

Of course, as the calendar continues to creep closer to those dates, the prices will most likely increase.

Seating Chart

The seating chart at Fenway Park is divided into several sections/levels. And, let’s not forget that it’s the oldest stadium in baseball, so there are more quirks to this venue than many others. Here’s a peek at the seating chart from the official Red Sox website. If you’re planning on hitting up a game at Yankee Stadium, you can see their seating chart here.

Keep in mind that the seating chart can vary depending on the specific game and ticket availability. It’s always a good idea to check the seating chart and available tickets before making a purchase.

Game Schedule

The Yankees and Red Sox had their first meeting of the year in the Bronx before we wrote this article. So, here are the remainder of their head-to-head battles this season with the date, start time, and a link to buy tickets:

Enjoy your trip to the park! It’s a lot of fun and something you’ll probably want to do again after experiencing it for the first time (or the 100th time).
