When the Baltimore Orioles selected Adley Rutschman with the first overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft, there was instantly pressure on the young backstop. He was viewed as a crucial part of the Orioles’ rebuild. Now just in his second big-league season, things seem to be working out well since we’re putting together a 2023 Adley Rutschman Home Run Tracker.
Baltimore is one of baseball’s most exciting teams this season, and Adley is a big reason why. The 25-year-old is heading to his first-ever All-Star Game and will also be participating in the Home Run Derby.

After appearing in 113 games for the Orioles as a rookie in 2022, he entered this year with 13 home runs as his single-season career-high mark. As we can see, that number has just about no chance of continuing to stand up by the end of this year.
Every time Adley finds the seats in 2023 for the Orioles, we’ll be sure to update this article. So be sure to check back and follow along with Rutschman’s progress in the power department.
