It’ll be hard for Stanton to ever match his 2017 NL MVP performance of 59 home runs. After all, that’s one of the most powerful seasons in MLB history. But something he’s done consistently since then is surpassing the 30-homer plateau. He’s done it three times since 2018. It’ll be a little harder to accomplish this season because he spent a significant portion of the first half on the injured list.
Keep checking back here to see how close Stanton can get to that number if his bat catches fire down the stretch for New York.
