The market for baseball cards is always evolving, with collectors constantly hunting for their next prized addition. Ever wonder which cards are generating the most buzz at any time? You can find that out thanks to eBay’s “most watched” listings, as pointed out by Sports Collector’s Daily.
The below nine baseball cards were at the top of eBay’s most-watched list when I sat down to write this article. Let’s check out which cards are catching a lot of attention right now.
It’s worth noting that the number of watchers and price of these cards can change quickly and several times per day. With that in mind, the below numbers may not match what’s currently on eBay. For the most up-to-date information, head over to Sports Collector’s Daily.

Most Watched Baseball Cards on eBay Right Now
Shohei Ohtani: The Modern Grail
Topping the watchlist is a 2018 Topps Chrome Gold Wave Refractor Shohei Ohtani RC Auto (49/50) graded PSA 10. With 338 watchers tracking this card priced at $18,600, it’s clear that Ohtani’s two-way dominance continues to electrify the market (this unique card that sold for $1 million is another example). His unparalleled ability to excel both on the mound (when healthy) and at the plate has cemented his cards as modern treasures.
While signed Ohtani rookies have always commanded premium prices, this particular parallel’s scarcity (numbered to just 50) combined with its perfect grade makes it especially desirable for serious investors — hence the huge price tag.
Jesus Made: Milwaukee’s Rising Star
The second-most watched card spotlights Milwaukee’s phenomenal no. 2 prospect, Jesus Made. His 2025 Bowman Chrome Green Grass Auto (/99) has attracted 242 watchers at $1,075.
What makes this card particularly interesting is it represents Bowman’s newest innovation in their colored parallel lineup, with the “Green Grass” design making its debut in the 2025 series.
Hammerin’ Hank’s Rookie Treasure
The 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie card (PSA 3) with 238 watchers sits at $3,825. The Hammer’s first Topps card remains one of the hobby’s cornerstone pieces, representing the beginning of a career that would see him become one of the best — and most consistent — hitters the game has ever seen.
Even in modest condition, this card captures the beginning of one of baseball’s most storied careers, making it a must-have for serious vintage collectors.
Frank Thomas’ Error Card
One fascinating trend is the continued demand for significant error cards. The 1990 Topps Frank Thomas “No Name on Front” error (PSA 5) has attracted 236 watchers at $4,700. Despite coming from the “junk wax era,” this printing error’s extreme rarity has elevated it to legendary status.
The Big Hurt’s nameless card has become one of the most sought-after modern printing errors, commanding prices that defy the overproduction of its era.
Aaron Judge’s Blue Beauty
Aaron Judge’s 2017 Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor Auto (/125) graded PSA 10 has 233 watchers at $6,650. Judge’s consistent power numbers with the Yankees continue to drive collector interest years after his incredible rookie campaign.
The blue refractor showcases Judge’s signature perfectly, and as card #73/125, it strikes the perfect balance between rarity and attainability.
Sal Frelick’s One-of-One Masterpiece
Sal Frelick’s 2024 Topps Chrome Update MLB Debut 1/1 RPA (rookie patch auto) has accumulated 201 watchers at $4,000. As a true one-of-one featuring both an on-card autograph and game-used memorabilia, this is exactly what modern card collectors are looking for.
The MLB Debut subset has become increasingly popular among collectors looking to capture a player’s first moments in the majors, and this 1/1 offers exclusivity that just can’t be matched.
The Mick’s True Rookie
The 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie (SGC 3) with 189 watchers at $11,000 represents a piece of baseball history. As Mantle’s true rookie card (preceding his famous 1952 Topps issue), it captures the Commerce Comet at the very beginning of his legendary career.
Though often overshadowed by his 1952 Topps card, savvy collectors recognize this as Mantle’s authentic rookie issue and a cornerstone of any vintage collection. And while $11,000 isn’t chump change, it pales in comparison to the $12.6 million his 1952 card sold for in 2022.
The Say Hey Kid’s First Card
Willie Mays’ 1951 Bowman rookie (PSA 6.5) commands the highest price among this bunch at $18,488 with 185 watchers. The exceptional grade for this 74-year-old card explains why it’s so high.
Graded near-mint, this card of the legendary five-tool player has survived for over seven decades and is still in great condition, making it especially desirable to condition-sensitive collectors.
The Georgia Peach’s Portrait
Rounding out our list is a T206 Ty Cobb Portrait (Green Background) graded PSA 2.5, with 173 watchers at $6,750. Dating back to 1909-1911, this pre-war masterpiece continues to fascinate collectors more than a century after its release.
The T206 set is considered the holy grail of pre-war baseball cards, and Cobb’s portrait variation with its green background remains one of the most iconic baseball images ever.
