Pete Alonso Home Run Derby 2023 Tracker

We’ve waited all season for this, folks. The All-Star break is right around the corner, which means so is the Home Run Derby. On Monday, July 10th, eight of the game’s best sluggers will step into the box at T-Mobile Park looking to hoist some hardware. We know all the details of the event, so now all that’s left is to enjoy it. And our way of doing that for Pete Alonso is with our Pete Alonso Home Run Derby 2023 Tracker.

These trackers will work just like our in-season home run trackers do. If you want to see all of Alonso’s home runs from the Derby in one place, this is where they will live. Pete will be looking for his third Derby title, which would tie him with Ken Griffey Jr. for the most in MLB history.

Round 1 vs. Julio Rodriguez: 21 Home Runs

If you want to talk about stepping into the box behind the eight-ball, that’s exactly what Alonso did during his first-round matchup with J-Rod. It was a rematch of their second-round meeting from the 2022 Derby in Los Angeles. But this time around, Rodriguez is in his home park and started things off by slugging 41 (!) homers.

It’s not like hitting 21 is anything to be disappointed about, but Alonso had to be unconscious to give himself a chance to advance, and it just didn’t happen. Here are the highlights:
