A Breakdown of Juan Soto’s Yearly Home Run Production

Since Soto is entering the first season of his 15-year pact with the Mets, he’s starting from zero on the franchise’s all-time home run leaderboard. But based on his home run numbers in recent years, he’ll start shooting up the leaderboard quickly. Here’s a look at Soto’s power production since he made his MLB debut in 2018:

  • 2018: 22
  • 2019: 34
  • 2020: 13
  • 2021: 29
  • 2022: 27
  • 2023: 35
  • 2024: 41

FanGraphs’ Steamer projections have him pegged for 32 homers this season. That would be his fourth career 30-homer campaign. It would also be the third straight year he surpasses that plateau. How many homers do you think Soto will end up with during his first season as a Met? Drop your thoughts and predictions below in the comments.
