The Baltimore Orioles won the 2023 American League East division title thanks to a 101-61 record. A roster loaded with elite young talent was the big driver to that success, and AL Rookie of the Year Gunnar Henderson was in the middle of it all. So, we felt it was necessary to keep tabs on his power production with a 2024 Gunnar Henderson Home Run Tracker.

Plus, a reader suggested it to me, and I like to make people happy. Shout out to you, Walter.

This tracker will work like all the others. Every time Gunnar goes deep, we’ll update this post with the date, opponent, distance, and exit velocity of the dinger, as well as a video of it.

His rookie campaign in 2023 was just about all anyone could’ve asked for. He posted a .814 OPS with 28 home runs, 29 doubles, 82 RBI, and 100 runs scored. He was not only named Rookie of the Year, but Henderson also finished eighth in AL MVP Award voting and took home his first Silver Slugger Award.

Those 28 taters tied him with Anthony Santander for the club lead last season. Will he have the crown all to himself in 2024? We’ll find out soon enough.
