I’m excited to watch a lot of MLB players in 2024. Toward the top of my list is Cincinnati Reds infielder Elly De La Cruz. With that in mind, you just knew I had to put together a 2024 Elly De La Cruz Home Run Tracker to keep tabs on his power progress for the upcoming season.

Cruz appeared in 98 games and racked up 427 plate appearances as a rookie in 2023. He finished seventh in NL Rookie of the Year Award voting after hitting .235/.300/.410 with 35 extra-base hits (15 doubles, seven triples, 13 home runs). He also added 44 RBI, 67 runs scored and 35 steals in the process.

This home run tracker will act the same as the one we set up for Elly last year. Every time he scorches one into the stands, we’ll update this article with the opponent, date, distance, and exit velocity of the homer, as well as a video of the dinger itself. You can watch all of Cruz’s 2023 dingers right here. A couple of them were among the longest of the season in MLB, as well.
