Last Updated on July 7, 2024 by Matt Musico

There were plenty of Matt Olson home runs to go around during the 2023 season. The first baseman not only led the league with 54 taters, but he also set a new Atlanta Braves single-season home run record. He surpassed Andruw Jones’ 51 homers from 2005. They’re the only two players in franchise history to surpass the half-century mark in one year.

After a memorable season like that, you knew we had to put together a 2024 tracker for the left-handed slugger.

In addition to leading the league in homers, Olson’s 139 RBI were also at the top of baseball’s leaderboard. It was accompanied by a .283/.389/.604 triple slash. He was selected to his second All-Star Game, finished fourth in NL MVP Award voting, and won his first Silver Slugger Award.

This tracker will work exactly as it did last year. Every time Olson goes deep, we’ll update this post with the opponent, date, distance, and exit velocity of the dinger, as well as a video of it. You can revisit all 54 of last year’s dingers right here.
