Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia has been one of the game’s more underrated sluggers the past few years. But now that he’ll be participating in the 2023 Home Run Derby, he might become more of a household name across the league. Garcia just seemed to run out of gas toward the end of his round. He couldn’t catch up to his good friend, Randy Arozarena, who slugged 24 dingers to lead off the event. El Bombi still has a chance at leading the league in homers once the second half starts, though. Check out his 2023 Home Run Tracker here.

Garica’s first-round matchup against Arozarena was entertaining because it was between two sluggers baseball fans in all markets should know more about. They gave us a good show.
